Una nuova lettrice di Cartoonist Globale ci ha scritto (anche privatamente) facendo paragoni fra Romics e il Boomfest russo: entrambi i festival annunciano oggi i loro premiati. Così, abbiamo preso amaramente atto di non aver (ancora) mai parlato di questa manifestazione russa, sulla quale twitta qualche notizia al mondo non cirillico la brava Jessica Abel. Poiché la mia madrelingua è l'Inglese, mi esprimo più puntualmente come segue: Boomfest will traditionally hold exhibitions, workshops, a book fair and a competition for the best comic strip. This year the set subject of the competition is The Choice. The winners will be announced today, September 30, and the festival itself will last for whole month, till October 14.
